Cluster1: Nanohybrid Fabrication. The efforts of this group focus on development of highly ordered chiral and achiral nanoscaffolds, carbon-nanotube-based structures, and the functionalization of these scaffolds with chemical and biological recognition elements.
Cluster2: Nanohybrid Properties and Interactions. The efforts of this group focus on fundamental investigations of the chemical and physical properties of the nanohybrids in the presence and absence of interacting molecules.
Cluster 3: Nanohybrid-based Detection and Separation. The efforts of this group focus on fundamental research into the application of the nanohybrids for sensing and separations, including application within micro/nanofluidic systems.
